My '99 Dodge 3500 has an after matrket FASS fuel system and it has been taking out the fuel system relay ?

to date, no one has heard of nor had a relay problem

I'm curious as to why a relay would blow or burn out and why no one else has experienced this before? Is it possibly an amp overload from the FASS pump or a wiring problem? I'm stumped!!
