I just bought a 99 dodge 1500 a few months ago and just had the tranny rebuilt and it still
wont shift out of second gear..what else could it be..we replaced all the sensors and rebuilt
the vavle body..any ideas?
the governer pressue solenoid was replaced and it's sensr?
I have seen a few things cause this. First does the speedometer work? If not the speed sensor in the rear end is the issue. Second check to make sure the trans control relay is switching on and you have power to trans harness at trans connector. Finally check to make sure none of the o2 sensor harnesses are pinched or melted as this can also cause it( didnt believe it either till i had a 00 ram with a rear o2 harness melted together that stuck in second)

i replaced the cam shaft postion senor that did not work.. i am not getting spark but i am getting fuel and compression. i tested the battery it is still good..you can still hear the fuel pump kick on...
