will the trans out of my 97 ram 4x4 5.9 fit in my 2000 4x4 with a 5.2

rebuilt 97 trans then rolled it over. Like to use trans if could.

I believe it will work. Only difference is the torque converter, one is lighter duty. After 2001 they changed transmission. Good luck. Call a Trans builder for a second opinion.
