How do you reset the check engine light on a 2000 ram slt Laramie

Question type: General

Check engine light on with OT1493 code.  Battery sensor (low voltage) - but the voltage
is correct.

It's not battery voltage it's temperature sensor voltage..and that's a new one on me didn't even know it had a battery temp sensor...that is P1493 anyway, don't know what OT1493 is either see.. http://engine-codes.com/p1493_dodge.html ...and look at http://www.justanswer.com/dodge/25xj9-function-battery-temperature-sensor.html ..will go full screen
