any codes, what do the spark plugs look like are they fouled, new, or otherwise. You really can't ever give too much info.

While cranking engine over have someone spray short bursts of starting fluid into intake. If you get ignition then you have fuel supply issues. If not you have spark issues.

If you want a easy solution you can have someone sit in the driver seat and you can take a plug wire off put a screwdriver in the plug and while they crank you can hold it near the engine to see if it sparks if it does it's a fuel issue if not it's a spark issue, but you really ought to see if there are codes those will also go a long way to help you see what the issue is because even if you find out if there is a fuel problem you still need to know what the problem is.

you'll probly want to check the ignition module it's located on the passenger front side of the engine you can buy a spark tester at harbor freight that will let you know if you are getting spark from the module.

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 Auto 4x4. I had left the key in the on position and the battery died. I charged the battery and it would turn over but not start. I had fuel and I had fir but it still wouldn't start. After a lot of searching and reading I came across a remedy that I thought might work. It was a locked up Wireless Control Module. And the remedy was simple. Reset it. To do that you simple disconnect the negative battery terminal for thirty seconds. I went ahead and disconnected both and cleaned them off. And low and behold, it started up. I was happy as can be and yet upset that something so simple had me down for three days and now have to try and get some customers back...Anyway, I hope this will help and get some vehicle back on the road.
