2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. Oil pressure sits at 1/2 way mark while driving, but drops to 1/4 at idle. Is this normal?

The factory gauges are guessing stick at best, hookup a manual gauge and find out what the actual pressures are and compare the two, if the stock gauge seem too low or too high it might be the sender, as they do fail quite often.
