Spark to distributor not to plugs

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving down the road lose acceleration for a short
time returns drives fine happens about 15 minutes
later driving down the highway start pulling to the
shoulder hear a loud POP lose all power. Then it
won't restart sparks from the coil to distributor but
nothing else. New cap rotor, wires  and distributor
Reads the crank sensor. What am I missing that
could cause no spark to plugs?

Sounds like the classic timing chain jump, but will need more info. Check engine lite? What engine? Fuel pressure? What makes you say...spark from coil to dist? Do you have n volt/ohm meter? Have you checked your fuses/relays?
