Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the key on, the lights and radio work fine, the check engine and several other lights come on as well. But none of the gauges move at all.(battery, fuel, oil) Also the fuel pump doesn't come on either.

Have you checked your battery voltage? Or tried to jump start it? Might get lucky and it just be a battery issue. My 2007 quad cab was doing the same but would start with a jump. Ended up replacing the battery and all is good now.

Already checked the battery, and making sure it was in park. It's not an everyday thing. Last time I had any trouble with it was a few weeks ago, but this time it still won't start. If I turn the key on, and the gauges work, then it starts every time, but if they don't move at all, I turn the key and nothing happens.

Mine had a bad wire that a rat chewed up. Seemed like power was getting to everywhere, but the times it wouldn't start, i noticed i never heard the fuel pump come on... Once the wire was replaced, i havent had any issues with it.
