I have a 2006 Dodge pickup 4 .7bad engine I would
like to know can I use a 2003 4 .7 both have the
same 8th digit on vent   N

The blocks are the same, there maybe some accessories that you will have to transfer from your bad engine to the good one but it should drop right into the mounts

Well your not changing any of the engine management systems so all of that will just transfer to the replacement engine from your broken one. If your thinking it will be a direct drop in it won't be that you will have to do some transferring of components and accessories. Worst case scenario you may have to swap intake manifolding, oil pickup tube and oil pan, exhaust manifolds, and depending on if it is a standard transmission engine and yours is an automatic the flywheel will need swamped with the flex plate or visa versa. your rigs wiring harnesses stay with your rig. HTH
