Chryler Pacifica 2006 - No power at ALL

Asked by FunakiAfu Oct 17, 2019 at 04:42 PM about the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Chrysler Pacifica 2006. I drove it from Utah to California in July and
had trouble once starting it on the trip. Before leaving Utah, I had check-ups,
oil change, new battery, coolant, new lights, everything I could name. About
one month later I started having starting issues. A week later, then the car
started only starting once a week and would run perfectly that day that it did
run. I searched it up and it says it needs a new fuel pumper? And I've been
saving for it. But now, it's as if there is completely no power in the car. The
key does not work. The buttons in the car does not work. I can't even unlock
the doors nor can I open my trunk where my jump cables are. The battery
was just bought maybe a week or two before moving states. Does anybody
know what's happening or how I can fix it? Is it even worth it? or should I just
junk it? Please help, thank you for anyone who comments with any ideas.
(My family has had this car for only 3 years now and it has only been in one
car collision last year where it only got skidded on the passenger's side near
front tire)

would check the Ground connections from the battery to the frame, they will corrode without you paying attention, 2006 sure bet has seen a little wet weather, in the midwest they will be using deplorable Sodium-Chloride (salt) which gets in between the sure connections~ have a guy put new cables in, New battery, and cable to the block, to the chassis and the third for uninterrupted power, like flashers and stations~ YES am confident that your ground is NOT comfortable with 30 amps~
