seem like a timing chain or electronic ignition problem. crank sensor ok? debris? no trouble codes? wires on the s-p ignition pack ok? spark plug wires are ok; no white marks on wires+5yrs or under in age?? taht is alot of RPMS for this engine to run at. maybe it could be at the goveror limit?

i think it was the rev limiter i asked a buddy and he towed me out took it out driving for about 40 or so miles last night too and didn't have any trouble so my guess would be that it's fine
