how cani clean out sugar out of my oil in my buick park ave engine?

my exboyfriend poured sugar in the oil of my park ave and it started knocking. I immeidetly stopped driving it and it has been sitting ever since. Now i want to fix it and get it back on the road. Please advise as to the best way to clean the sugar out of the engine.
