Service Engine Light

Asked by AAQueen Jan 23, 2019 at 10:50 PM about the 2000 Buick LeSabre

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My service engine light is on and I am not sure
why. Oil pressure is good, alternator is maintaining
good voltage, battery is good, new catalytic
converter, brand new fuel pump and filter. I do
have a smell when the heater is on that smells like
something maybe burning.

Without the trouble code(s) I could only guess. Your local auto parts store can read the codes for you. Write them down and post them here.
