My car will stall / die while driving what is wrong ?

Pls someone HELPI have a 2001 Buick regal
when it starts right up it will drive without
problem runs fine .get home turn off try again
and try to go it acts like it's 1 -of 3  
1- won't start
2- turns over acts like it's flooded
3- finally when starts n take off it dies going
down the road if it does start back up have to
pump gas peddle to keep moving or it'll die .

First, this car is in bad shape; you really need to fix all the problems..... (1 & 2) There are systems on cars that when defective are susceptible to heat and will just stop working. Could be bad coils. Or it could be leaking injectors flooding a hot engine, and in time the excess fuel dissipates and the cooled engine starts again. (3) likely a dirty or defective idle air control valve. I suspect the car is in dire need of a thorough tune-up.
