Gears won't work.

Car starts, won't move from park. Gear says its in
drive but I feel no movement. No gear seems to
work. Been told its either transmission or torque
converter

Car starts,but the gear shift handle has fallen down past the low gear. It will not put it self in any gear. Because the gear shift won't work at all.
