2002 Buick park avenue

Asked by Apr 19, 2019 at 10:52 AM about the 2002 Buick Park Avenue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Buick park avenue ran hot while I
was driving it and it shut off. Now it will turn
over and has fire but will not crank. No water
in oil. Oil looks good. Please help me. Any
advice is appreciated. Don’t want to buy
parts by guessing what it could be and it still
not crank and I’ve lost out on money that I
can’t afford to lose. Thanks

Overheating an engine can damage components, like sensors. There are a lot of possibilities, and you need to have a mechanic find exactly what got damaged.
