there is a noise like some kind of pump running seems to be coming from under trunk or in gas tank? rns for about 3 min any ideas?

when starting car sometimes a noise from the back end (under trunk, gas tank) sounds
like a air compressor running or some kind of pump what could this be?

Air pump for the cars ai rride suspension.

Passenger side rear above the muffler, it is an air compressor. As long as it stops running in a few minutes it's normal. If you find out running non stop, rust has decayed the integrity of the unit and it's a $500 min replacement.

Not sure about the fuse but there is a plug on the unit. You most likely need to convert it to gas shocks if the pump and original air ride shocks are bad.

This is where it's located at. Pic is looking at the bottom back of the car right behind the passenger wheel next to the indention where the tire goes in the trunk it'll be located above the muffler.
