My heater takes a long time to heat up some times
I hear swishing noises in the dash what part
should I replace
That swishing sound is coolant mixed with air in the heater core. Your coolant is very low.
So I just add coolant to it
I'd check the coolant to see if it needs to be replaced. If it's OK, add coolant/water mix, run the engine and purge air from the system; there are videos on line that show this simple process.
