Check engine lights on 2007 Rav4 4 cyl on again after replacing charcoal filter & canister

Asked by GuruKVRV2 Dec 05, 2019 at 05:06 PM about the 2007 Toyota RAV4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Rav4 4cyl with 99000 miles had the three check engine lights come
on.  A locat auto repair shop replaced the charcoal filter and canister and lights
were off for about 2 weeks.  Now lights on again and they said the code
indicated that there was water in the canister.  Any suggestions??

Need to know the codes that were pulled.

My error codes are the same ones that came up before they replaced the charcoal filter and canister --p2401, p043e, p2419. Today they reset the check engine lights and sent me home with the car, to see if the lights would come one again.

Ok Thanks, Those codes have nothing to do with the charcoal canister, they are for the evap system leak detection pump.whoever your taking your vehicle to I would recommend going somewhere else.
