Wouldn't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It will start two or three times then it won't!!
If I leave it for a day then it will start???

Electronic engine control component(s) failing due to heat, probably. Rather than throwing components at it, identification of the problem is accomplished with a live engine analyzer when the engine is not responding.
