will a bench seat from a 1988 ford f-150 fit into a 1992 f-150? if so is gonna be a unbolt and swap or do some fab work?

i have a 92 f150 and the seat is pretty well shot and ive been looking for a
replacement and a guy has a bench seat for a 88 f150 that he is willing to
part with. im wondering if its a simple un bolt the old seat and pitch it and
replace it with the new one and will the bolts all line up and work fine or will
i need new rails and assembly or just drill some holes and make it fit kinda
deal.

You can use these kinds of catalogs to cross reference most parts. You can also cross reference most parts or find their compatibility on most auto part store websites.
