My 1994 f150 keeps stalling when I turn my headlights on

are you talking about the battery cables that connect to the lead terminal on battery?? how old is the battery or even the alternator. your headlights will continue to draw out from battery until it's dead if the generator isn't doing it's job. maybe check out your fuses. I'd go for the ECU relay ( first black box near fender). the yellow 20 a fuse far side I might check out, too. that is the ignition relay. good luck
First, I would use a multi meter and check the output of the alternator when the vehicle is running. Have someone flip on the headlights and watch the output of the alternator to see if it drops significantly. You could also have a grounding or short issue. A color coded wiring diagram is a necessity. I don't know of any free ones around though. You can download one from the net for a fee.
