Battery Drain while driving

I need HELP!! I have a 97 Ford f150 just recently     
( in the last week) purchased a new battery and
alternator. As I am driving I slowly lose power to
the truck.. charge battery  and she starts right up
no problem barley make it home from work about a
45 min drive and again I start to lose power..

Did you load text the charging system after the new battery and alternator were put in? You might have a bad cable or connection that is affecting the system and preventing the alternator from charging the battery.

With the vehicle idling, check the voltage at the battery with a digital volt meter, should be 14.5 volts, or so.
