1997 f150 Truck wont crank
The guy I bought it from said he was
cranking it up multiple times till know when
you switch it to crank it, it wont do anythibg.
Like I turn the key to the on position, all the
service lights turn on but I turn it to crank it,
its nothing at all. What did he do and how do
I fix this
He may have been cranking up often to keep the battery alive. So if you battery is weak then replace and also when a battery is weal it allows corrosion to grow in the electrical wires starting in the Battery terminal wires & terminal connections. Of course check fuses under dash & hood. You can take battery to a auto parts store to have load tested. Next would be starter bad or alternator weak or failing, for which you could pull all of those and have tested at same time.
