Electric windows are 12V DC motors. They reverse by changing the polarity of the current from + to - via the switch through the motor. Check the drivers side first. Check the rubber boot between the door and the jamb where the wires pass for damaged wires. If there does not appear to be any damage, you'll need a multi-meter to check the main door switch on the drivers side. Check the net. There are probably a ton of videos showing you "how to". You probably do not have a color coded wiring diagram so the testing procedure will take a while-while you figure out the combinations.
