what would make the truck go click click one time when you try to crank it help

THE LITES AND ALL WORK BUT WHEN U TRY TO TURN THE TRUCK OVER IT MAKES A LOUD CLICK NOISE WHERE WOULD THE BEST PLACE TO START THE BATTERY OR WHERE

if that doesn't work check the neutral safety switch on the steering column
Check your starter solenoid, then the starter itself. A very common issue in most vehicles.
Clean the connections on the battery first. Use a multi meter and make sure the battery has a little over 2 volts. Follow the ground wire from the battery to the ground location on the vehicle and make sure there is a good clean connection. Try jumping the solenoid relay on the fender well for a second or two. If the engine cranks, replace the relay.
