2000 ford f-150 starter replaced still at times doesn't crank spins and makes loud sound someone said flywheel bolt may be messed up anyone have any ideas on which bolt

the battery is new, terminals good all wires to battery good, sounds like starter doesn't
engage to flywheel someone told me bolt may need to be replaced  or tightened are they
talking about the bolt on starter that has the wire attached or is there a bolt on flywheel

Some of the aftermarket starters, need shims in them to line up right with the fly wheel,
