I have a 2006 BMW X3. When I lock the doors, from my remote lock, the lights light up, but there's no sound. Is there a way to change the preference where there will be a sound when I lock the doors?

There is no way to make the car beep when the doors are locked. It only flashes.

The X3's remote is not a real alarm. It's only keyless entry, hence there's no siren or beeping when locking the doors.

It's default. There is no way that you can make it beep. Even my X3 has no sound, only lights. The only way to make it beep it's with an aftermarket remote/alarm.
