1993 honda civic help

So my car has been sputtering when I give it gas like its not running all cylinders drove it like
that for a week then I went to the store one day and it would turn over but not start its getting
gas and spark what's the symptons  if jumped timing I'm a angry person with a hammer and
don't wanna snap and start going ham on it

Check your distributor cap, they have a long strip to the coil and rotor button. The running bad bad before is the tip
