I have a honda accord 1988

Question type: General

So it 's a little broken down and need some maintenace ,but
i don't really know if i should buy a new car or fix it and
make it a better car and where to start( P.S. it's my first car )
Any advice ?

A thirty year old car that isn't running right isn't a place for a novice to start. BUT, this could be a good learning experience for you if you want. You already have the car. Assess the problems, review fixes, and price it out. If reasonable, keep the car and keep it running. You can always buy another car anytime.
