cast numbers on engine C6AE9425G , what is the reference to.

l am trying to find the hand stamped engine number on my 1966 - 390 FE  engine block, BUT nobody l have spoken to knows exactly where the number is located, back of the block left hand bank between that and the bell housing, around the distributor , around the fuel pump ? cant find it any where, the other is the cast on number  C6AE9425G is a reference number to or for what ?

I thought it was on the left side of the engine block about 1/4 of the way down.
