Brakes don't have no pedal. Real spongey

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New shoes installed. System bleed. Still does not have any pedal. Acts as Booster is not working. Checked all hoses and appears to be OK. Just purchased car and brakes had a good pedal and then started to fade. Pedal goes fully to floor. Suggestions would be appreciated. It has a 390 V8 & Cruise-O Matic Trans.
