How do we replace a door regulator (metal arm inside the drivers door cavity) on a 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Asked by Jul 13, 2017 at 04:06 PM about the 1963 Ford Thunderbird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 1963 ford T-bird and the window came crashing down the other
night inside the door cavity.  Luckily, it didn't break, but the metal arm that held
it rusted right through.  How do we replace?  When we pulled the interior trim
off, the door is one piece, so access is very limited to replace.  We are sort of
at a loss as to how to fix!  Its a manual/crank window.
