63 thunderbird park brake

I have just bought a 63 Tbird,and the park brake is stuck and won't release.Car
isn't running atm.

Old brake cables get corroded and stick. Easiest way to free the cable is to spray lubricant, like WD-40 into the cable way and anyplace you can see the cable against something. Let it soak and pull the cable from the brake side and then from the handle side until it frees up. Then keep it lubed.
