I am about to order a set of 16x8 rims, with P225/60R16 white wall tires on them. I was wondering if I will have enough room seeing how wide the tires are?

Wheel and tire width/height is obviously a factor, but you'll also want to take into account the back-spacing and offset. These measurements will dictate where, in relationship to the hub, the wheel (and tire) will sit. I'm sure you've seen a car with wheels that actually stick out from the side of the vehicle or really wide tires that are somehow completely hidden under the fender. These are examples of different wheel offsets and back-spacing.
