89 ford ranger 4x4 problems

I'm stuck in 4low! my friend
helped me shift the shifter
motor it put my truck in
4low. i think my control
module is fried. i have to
hold the button for 30
seconds then it stays on but
won't shift from low to high
or even 2 high. how do i test
my control module?

Same happened to mine it’s was the crank angle positioning sensor when it gets hot after 20 mins sensor fails cause heat causes resistance it’s a $50 part now she runs better than ever
