So the alternator is not charging the battery?

The alternator should have a all in one system. Make sure you main power lead is secured and has power, all plugs to alt is in and no breaks in wires. If still not working check alternator may be bad even though just replaced!

I know you asked 6 years ago but I was having the same exact problem with the same exact car!! I put a brand new alternator and battery in and it still wasn't charging!! So I did all the work again and exchanged the alternator I just bought, thinking it was faulty!! After about 3 hours of freezing my butt off, putting one on and taking off again, and a couple bloody knuckles and cuts, IT STILL WASN'T CHARGING!! Come to find out it ended up being the inline fuse wire that goes from the alternator to the fuse box!! The wire broke off the fuse inside the fuse holder!! So I just replaced it with zero gauge wire that I had when I installed car stereos!! It also solved the problem of my voltage gauge inside the car going up and down all the time!! I understand you have prolly dont have this car anymore but someone else might see this that's having the same exact problem!!
