87 Ford F250 runs and dies then wont start???

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Im helping my buddy with his 87 F250 IL6 and i cant figure out what it could be next. The truck starts normally when cold and will let you move it around and drive it about a mile but then itll die on you. Smell super rich, but when it starts it runs fine as far as idle and sounds normal. We've replaced both pumps the one in-tank and the fuel lift pump, replaced the fuel filter, EGR valve, Distributor Cap and Rotor, and put a better battery in it. Originally the issue was it had a hard time starting as well. We also changed out the starter. Once we got it to start fine we cant keep it running. Were thinking could be the O2 sensor or the Fuel injectors either being dirty or clogged.
