Starting problems

Asked by Daniel May 07, 2016 at 11:38 AM about the 1977 Ford F-250

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having trouble starting after sitting for a day.
Once I do get it started and warmed up it fires right
back up.  I have a 400 new carb 1yr old fuel pump
recently replaced fuel lines.

I am not positive but I think my problem might be that the truck is vapor locking. It is the only thing that is consistent with the time of day when I typically have the problem. Any creative solutions or other thoughts would be appreciated
