1962 ford truck electrical short

Asked by May 27, 2018 at 06:44 PM about the 1962 Ford F-250

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My grand father’s old f250 truck is dead.  ( The odd thing
about this truck is that it is a positive ground )
Unfortunately, while adjusting the battery position the hot
battery cable touched the steel of the hood. There was
spark same as if you touch the hot wire to ground.    After
that I don’t have any lights, horn, or any power in the cab
and ignition does nothing.  I’ve checked all the fuses in
side the cab. They are all good. I’ve also,  tested for juice
to the fuse box...there is juice.  I’ve been at a lost for what
to do?   Any body have ideas of what I should do?
