Where can I get headliner board and all parts for the headliner?

I just bought an 89 F150 swb 4X4 with a 4spd with 90K and no rust.  I was wondering whether it is possible to put on auto locking hubs instead of manual ones and what damage can happen if one locks the hubs but drives in 2wd?  Are the straight 6 motors reliable.  This one needs a pan gasket, but otherwise seems to run down the road ok.  I looked for a long time up here in Northern VT to find an old style F150 and while I am happy about the purchase, thought the price was right ($1500) as it is not a bondo special and the frame is good, but I am wondering if you could clue me into what to look out for that seems to go on them all.  I'd rather be proactive as I'd like to keep a truck like this going for a while.  Sorry for the long entry - promise they be shorter in the future.  Thanks, Tom

my dad used to have an 89 f-150. damn near the same thing as yours, straight 6 and all. and it ran for 15 years without a problem, just keep up with it. at least in my experience.he bought it brand new so if you have a problem i'm going to go ahead and blame it on the previous owner. again this based on what i have experienced. and i just talked him for your sake and he said that his gaskets blew first, he didnt specify, sorry i couldnt be more helpful

Warn and superwinch both make manual hubs for your truck. It does require a spinldle nut conversion kit to use them that is pretty cheap. Both companies make the conversion kit as well. Typically you can drive with the hubs locked and in 2wd for speeds up to 55mph with no propblems. I would just not reccomend doing it for extended periods of time. anything over that can damage the needle small needle bearings on the end of the axle shaft. I had a truck with the straight 6 hit 350,000 but the salt in michigan destroys the body and the front radius arm mounts actually rotted off of the frame. One of the great things about your truck is that you can buy almost any part for it still.

k im at a loss, the topic is saying you need headliner and kit, but you didnt mention it in the question, are you really needing one? check ebay, if not there go thru LMC truck, ive bought several things for my 79 from them
