on my 1988 f150 the fuel pump keeps runninng. i replaced the pump, filter, and relay. still no power then i noticed a loose wire going to the relay i plug it in then the pump turns on but wont stop. the truck still doesnt start. any advice or tips 1 Answer

the truck runs until it warms up the idles down the looses fuel pressure and dies . I replaced the fuel pump on the frame and fuel pump in the back tank and also the map sensor and still no change .

I have a 1977 ford f150 with a 351 engine in it. It dies sometimes and has trouble starting again, as if fuel isnt getting to the carborator. I have checked the fuse which leads me to believe that the fuel pump relay is working
