1988 f150 not getting gas to motor
I have a 88 f150 straight 6 it's not getting
gas to the motor it ran fine then I parked it
rained really hard that night the next day
wouldn't start hasn't ran since I can spray
starter fluid in it and it'll run for a sec then
die it never spit or sputterd any it just
stopped running out of ideas
Sounds like a bad fuel pump.
I checked those today I'm getting gas to the fuel rail but still won't start I'm guessing it is electrical what could it be
If you can spray starting fluid into the throttle body and it starts, then there is not an electrical problem with the engine. Low fuel pressure would cause the engine not to start. Change out the fuel filter first, then check the fuel pressure.
