Fuel question

Asked by Baseball13 Aug 16, 2016 at 08:07 AM about the 1988 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 88 Ford F-150. I'm at the beach as
soon as I switched tanks I started losing
power then about 2 miles later she cut off
and know will not start!  I have replaced
EVERYTHING I can think of except the fuel
injectors.  its turning over but won't start. I
replace fuel filter ( it was dirty) EGR  valve,
coil, the  sensors the  distributor module
and the  throttle Portion circuit. ( that's
what the code read to replace) still with no
luck. I'm out of ideas. I have 45 pounds of
press going to the rail both tanks are
working and the pump

Thank you. The problem ended up being the fuel injectors where dirty and needed to be cleaned. They run the tank down to empty before switching tanks and it threw trash in the injectors.
