i am trying to figure out mpg on my 1987 ford f150 xlt lariat or how many gallons the tanks are

if its got dual tanks then there 60 liters (12 us g) if ita single tank its either 90 or 120 liters

If it is a Short Bed, the front tank is 16 gal with the rear being 18 gal. The long bed has a 19 gal front and 18 gal rear.

mine has a 19 in the front and a 10 in the rear. the 10 gallon was after market back in 2003 and it now needs to be replaced. as far as mpg wise, your probably looking at like 8 city and about 14 highway. mine gets lees because mine needs tuning.
