My f-150 is leaking engine coolant. Why?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a water pump problem so we installed a new pump. After driving for about 100 miles the truck started over heating radically and discharging all it's coolant. I then replaced the thermostat and gasket with a new one, but the problem persisted. A new radiator was then installed, and the problem was fixed. After driving around town for a few days I parked in my diveway and to my dismay coolant was again leaking from what appears to be the general area around or below(?) the thermostat housing. Any suggestions?

It is a heater core problem. Here is a link that will explain everything to do. The F-150 among many other cars have this cooling system problem. http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1i/bl486i.htm
