anybody experiencing gremlin like problem with either fuel supply or intermittent ignition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

truck runs fine, then starts to miss, missing gradualy gets worse, although if i take it out of gear, i.e., take the load off, engine seems to recover...as soon as I put it back in gear, missing begins anew, and truck will simply die out after 3 or 4 minutes....come back the next day, starts right up, and the cycle repeats itself...fuel pumps appear to be working, and ignition module also seems to be ok, this has been a recurring problem, that no one seems to be able to fix once and for all...any help would be gfreatly appreciated

Is it fuel injected or carbureted? Could be a fuel filter issue, I would double-check the ignition module, you say it "seems to be OK," what tests have you run? Also check fuel pump relay.
