Truck died wile driving now will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving and my truck just died felt
like someone just like unplugged it
now it will not start all fuses are good
changed distributor cap and mogul
still will not start please help

test for proper spark , fuel pressure , see if injectors are firing , scan for codes , might have to get those off the dash board by watching a flashing light ,

Hey I just found a purple and white wire hanging down by my fuse box any idea what it is or were it go is that y it will not start

I don't know what it's for but that kind of thing is not uncommon if it has a disconnect ,, if it is bare and could ground out on something that could be suspicious
