Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Manual trans is grinding ,turn ignition off
then on and it is fine,pulled the shifter out
,pulled fill plug and added gear oil to fill plug
,this didn't solve problem.. throw out bearing
,fork ,or synchro ? I need help

Worn synchros perhaps. Make sure the clutch is fully disengaging. Not sure if you can adjust the clutch linkage on your truck. Check the hydraulic fluid level.
