information on 1985 ford f150 explorer xlt lariat

i have a 85 ford f150 explorer xlt lariat and i can not find any information on this truck for vaule wise it has no rust and has 24,400 origanl miles with a carburated 300 stright 6 with a 4 speed manuel. i was told that this is a very rare option but i'am unable to find any information.

Unless you bought the truck new yourself and know otherwise, it is almost certainly 124,400, or 224,400 miles. You might ask your insurance agent if they can put a value on it.

It does seem odd. The LXT lariat was the top of the line. The six isn't causing wonder as much as the four speed manuel. Jot down the VIN and check it against Ford assembly numbers. Something may have been changed. The worse you have is a 27 year old truck in what appears to be good condition. Run a "make offer" ad, collectors or an enthusiast should respond.
